Temperature changes in different scenarios with AirClim
Comparison of near-surface temperature changes between scenarios with different future technological developments including CO₂ and non-CO₂ effects. The horizontal lines indicate a five percent share of the 1.5°C and 2.0°C climate target. Grewe et al. (2021)
OpenAirClim is a response model for analysis of aviation scenarios, aircraft technologies or general operational options with respect to their climate impact.
OpenAirClim is being developed by an international consortium under the leadership of DLR-IPA. The model is continuously being expanded to include additional climate-relevant processes and the software framework is being extended to enable further functions and applications. The open-source framework is based on the previous AirClim program.
