Digitization for All: RM is co-creator of the Digital Day

On the first Digital Day on June 19, 2020, the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics invites you to a digital tour of the robotics research laboratories.

The Digital Day is designed to make digitization a tangible experience for all citizens through numerous activities. Through various digital event formats and online activities by associations, public authorities and companies, the Digital Day creates a platform to highlight and discuss the various aspects of digitization.

"Digital for All" is an initiative of more than 25 organizations from society, culture, business and the public sector. The aim of this broad alliance is to promote digital participation throughout Germany - with a focus on the local level. The initiative is concerned with the question of how all people in Germany can better understand digital developments and benefit from them. It also aims to create space for a constructive dialog with society as a whole on the opportunities and challenges of digitization.

The Digital Day is to take place annually. The exact date will be announced one year in advance. Due to current developments around the Covid 19 pandemic, this year's Digital Day will take place in virtual space.

Information and background on the "Digital for All" initiative, the Digital Day, the activities and participation opportunities are available at www.digitaltag.eu.
