                Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics

                The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics develops a wide array of robots to enable humans to interact more safely and efficiently with their surrounding environments. The robots are designed to act in surroundings inaccessible or dangerous to humans as well as to support humans in everyday life and work.

                Departments

                With engineering and IT and the intersection with biomechanics, neuroscience, medicine and psychology, we enjoy an optimum position. Our specialist departments provide the foundation for scientific and technological excellence.

                Location

                The Oberpfaffenhofen site is approximately 25 kilometres west of Munich on the Munich-Lindau motorway (A96). The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics is located on the site in building 135.
