OSIRIS 4 CubeSat
On behalf of TESAT Spacecom, a system design was developed for OSIRIS4CubeSat aimed at further advancing the miniaturization of laser communication terminals. This system design is based on a tight integration of electronics and optomechanics, enabling an extremely compact design. The result of this development is the smallest laser terminal in the world as of current knowledge! In parallel with the development work at DLR, TESAT is already preparing the terminal for mass production at the Backnang site, in order to be able to manufacture the system in larger quantities while the demonstration mission is ongoing. TESAT distributes the terminal under the designation CubeLCT/SCOT20.
