EO4CAM at the ESA Living Planet Symposium 2025
The focus lies on Earth observation: Every three years, the scientific community, international space agencies and industry come together at the ESA Living Planet Symposium. In 2025, the conference took place in Vienna from 23-27.06.2025. Lectures on the latest trends, technologies and applications, future satellite missions, as well as high-level panels on current space policy issues and the discussion of social challenges characterized five exciting days.
The EO4CAM project participated with a delegation of colleagues from the DLR and the University of Würzburg, and representatives from Bavarian authorities were also present. Initial project results from EO4CAM were presented in presentations and discussed in poster presentations, including on climate envelopes, orchards and crop yields from meadows.
For us, such events are a must. We want to generate the greatest possible benefit for Bavarian authorities with EO4CAM. It is important that we constantly measure our work against current developments in the international earth observation community and continue to develop through new input. This ultimately also benefits the transfer of scientific results into practice.
