OTHITACS
OTHITACS is a 24-year (2000–2023) model run of the TIE-GCM (Thermosphere-Ionosphere-Electrodynamics General Circulation Model). TIE-GCM is a 3D, time-dependent, physics-based model of the thermosphere and ionosphere (Richmond et al., 1992).
For OTHITACS, the TIE-GCM version 2.0 is applied with a horizontal resolution of 2.5° and a vertical resolution of 1/4 scale heights. Thermosphere and ionosphere parameters are provided at a 10-minute cadence.
