DLR Quantum & Space Day
On 7 October, our DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics, together with the DLR Institute of AI Safety and the DLR Institute of Quantum Technologies, will be taking part in the DLR Quantum & Space Day as part of Quantum Week in Ulm. The morning programme with interactive experiments - such as building a battery from lemons and copper coins or designing an optimal electrode using simulations - is specially designed for school classes. Please note that registration for the morning sessions is now closed. In the afternoon, we cordially invite the general public to participate in exciting lectures and discussions. Are you curious about what batteries have to do with quantum technology? Our researchers will explain everything to you on site! This varied and family-friendly programme offers fascinating insights into quantum science and space exploration for all ages.
