DLR in Cochstedt supports German Air Force training flights

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cochstedt supported the German Armed Forces in conducting training flights. As part of the training "Weapons Instructor Course 2025" on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, several A400M aircraft and one C130 Hercules aircraft of German Air Force landed at Magdeburg-Cochstedt Airport. In addition to takeoff and landing, loading procedures were also practiced.
The DLR, whose National Experimental Test Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems is located in Cochstedt, had adjusted its operational procedures for July 30 so that the German Armed Forces' exercise could be carried out in parallel with research and testing operations in Cochstedt.
