The FLUMIAS experiment to study living cells in microgravity
The centrepiece of the experimental facility, an innovative fluorescence microscope, will make it possible for the first time to conduct long-term observations in space. During the horizons mission, the cytoskeleton and cell nuclei of living macrophages, that is, human immune cells, will be examined.
