TRIPLE-IceCraft on the Ekström Ice Shelf
In February 2023, the TRIPLE IceCraft probe was tested on the Ekström Ice Shelf in Antarctica as part of a field test at the Alfred Wegener Institute’s Neumayer Station III. It successfully melted its way 25 metres down through the ice.
