Visit of the University of WAIKATO and University of Paderborn at DLR-DI
A delegation of 8 scientists from New Zealand visited on the 1st and 2nd of September the Institute for low carbon industrial processes in Cottbus. The group from the University of Waikato headed by James Carson and Tim Walmsley participated together with Florian Schloßer from the University of Paderborn to a workshop with researchers from the Institute. Common research interests and topics around high temperature heat pumps, heat pump process integration and industrial decarbonization were part of the discussion, which will form the basis for a further fruitful collaboration between the research organizations. A site visit at the Brayton high temperature heat pump pilot plant of the Institute concluded the event.
We are looking forward to further discussions and common projects!
