SME success stories: Volocopter can start series production

As an SME, Volocopter is supported in its development activities by funded research projects as part of the German government's aviation research programme (LuFo). The Federal Aviation Office has now granted approval for series production of the VoloCity flying taxi, among other things. Volocopter has also received approval to train pilots on the all-electric, vertical take-off and landing aircraft for urban air transport.
