Infrastructure Laser laboratory Waveguide test stand
Automated waveguide test stand for measuring photonic structures on semiconductor substrates
Credit:
Laser light of different wavelengths is required for quantum systems. QT-IMN operates a laser laboratory for the development of photonic structures and the construction of simple quantum systems. Here, our miniaturized systems can be tested with various light sources.
Automated waveguide test stand
- Investigation of the attenuation properties of on-chip waveguides
- Characterization of coupling losses of waveguides
- Power and wavelength measurement
- 780nm fiber-based laser
Simple demonstration setup for diamond NV
- Excitation of diamand NV centers
- Microwavergenerator
- Power measurement with photodiode
