Infrastructure Laser laboratory Waveguide test stand
Automated waveguide test stand for measuring photonic structures on semiconductor substrates

Laser light of different wavelengths is required for quantum systems. QT-IMN operates a laser laboratory for the development of photonic structures and the construction of simple quantum systems. Here, our miniaturized systems can be tested with various light sources.

Automated waveguide test stand

  • Investigation of the attenuation properties of on-chip waveguides
  • Characterization of coupling losses of waveguides
  • Power and wavelength measurement
  • 780nm fiber-based laser

Simple demonstration setup for diamond NV

  • Excitation of diamand NV centers
  • Microwavergenerator
  • Power measurement with photodiode
