Video: Further development of the management system at the DLR site in Lampoldshausen
Due to the large quantities of stored fuels (hydrogen and hydrazine), the entire DLR site in Lampoldshausen is subject to the requirements of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance and therefore to monitoring by the Regional Council. Deviations from the Hazardous Incident Ordinance can lead to the withdrawal of the operating license for test benches and facilities.
The further development of the management system at the Lampoldshausen site will make a significant contribution to fulfilling the legal and regulatory requirements not only for the DLR Institute of Space Propulsion, but also for the ArianeGroup based at the site, the activities on the free-jet track of the DLR Institute of Technical Physics and for all tenants and employees of DLR in Lampoldshausen.
This further development was recognized with the DLR Award Integrated Management System 2020.
