The Humanoids 2020 conference will take place online from 19 to 21 July 2021

The IEEE "International Conference on Humanoid Robots" is the most important international conference on the progress of research in the field of humanoid robots. The 20th edition of this conference was originally scheduled to take place in Munich in December 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and is now being held as a virtual conference. Scientists from all over the world will meet for three days to exchange the latest findings from the various sub-areas of humanoid robotics. In addition to scientific presentations, live experiments with humanoid robots from leading robotics laboratories will also be shown.

The conference was largely organised by Christian Ott (DLR) and Gordon Cheng (TUM) and won for the Munich location. The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics is significantly involved in the planning and implementation of the event through several members of the organising committee.
