The institute spin-off Sensodrive from Weßling has won the 3rd main prize. The Innovation Award Bavaria 2024 was presented on 14 October 2024 in Munich.
The seven award winners were honoured for their outstanding innovations by Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger, the President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Upper Franconia Bayreuth Dr Michael Waasner and the President of the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Crafts Franz Xaver Peteranderl. The title of the award-winning product is: "SensoJoint - a safe robot in record time".
