Participation in the automatica 2025 trade fair

The DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics will once again be represented at the automatica trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics in Munich from 24 to 27 June 2025. With innovative exhibits and pioneering technologies, the DLR Institute will once again be presenting its latest research results and developments in the field of robotics and automation.
The DLR Institute is looking forward to once again presenting its expertise in the field of automation and robotics on this international platform and to further intensifying the dialogue with industry, research and the public. This year's highlights include the humanoid walking robot TORO (Torque-controlled humanoid robot), a research platform for scientific topics dealing with bipedal locomotion and dynamics. This includes aspects such as robust walking, stair climbing and multi-contact scenarios.
The special stand area will focus on the wheelchair assistants EDAN and MAYA as well as the SMiLE care assistance project series, which develops concepts and assistance applications to provide effective support in everyday life for people with disabilities as well as those in need of care. The necessary technologies are being researched and brought to a level of maturity that enables them to be tested in realistic environments (e.g. in hospitals and homes adapted for the elderly or disabled).
automatica 2025 will take place from 24 to 27 June 2025 at Messe München. The Institute's stand will be located in hall B4 / stand no. 321 and in the special display area no. 324.
