                      Heating networks

                      District heating networks supply multiple consumers with heat from one or more heat generation units. In the coming years, heat production must be transitioned towards a renewable energy supply. Numerous existing installations demonstrate that solar thermal systems can also be utilised in colder climates. In Germany, flat-plate collectors and evacuated tube collectors have been used for this purpose so far.

                      Working principle of solar heating networks

                      Heat networks are a key component of the energy transition: they connect renewable heat sources, storage facilities and consumers to form an efficient overall system, thereby enabling a reliable and climate-friendly heat supply.
