The turbomachines in the energy transition

                        1.1 MB | PDF

Energy supply structures are undergoing major changes worldwide, which are necessary in order to realise the energy transition and international climate protection targets. Turbomachines are an essential component of today's energy supply. More than two thirds of the world's electricity is generated by steam turbines and an increasing proportion by gas turbines. In addition to power generation, turbomachinery is a central component in various industrial processes and modern, efficient air travel would not be possible without turbomachinery.
