30 years of TRACE in the turbomachinery industry

On Monday, November 24, 2025, at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne, we will look back with you on three successful decades of TRACE in the turbomachinery industry and provide an outlook on future prospects.

Immediately following this, from November 25 to 27, 2025, the three-day TRACE User Conference will take place. The development team, long-standing partners, and experienced users from the field will present technical talks offering fascinating insights into current applications and the ongoing evolution of the software.

Key topics of the TRACE User Conference

  • Turbomachinery aerodynamics (component-wise) Aeroelastics
  • Fluid-Structure Interaction and Conjugated Heat Transfer
  • Aeroacoustics
  • Combustor simulations
  • LES and hybrid RANS/LES applications
  • Real gas applications
  • Unsteady aerodynamics and frequency domain methods
  • CFD methods and modelling
  • Uncertainty quantification
  • Process integration and simulation control
  • Adjoint methods and optimization
  • Machine learning
  • Installation effects
  • High performance computing
