Actively shaping regional transformation

Conference in Leipzig: Actively shaping regional transformation, organized by: Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK), Saxon State Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport (SWMA), Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG).

Under the challenging motto "Actively shaping regional transformation", an event on challenges and solutions for the future of the automotive and supplier industry took place in Leipzig on 4 and 5 December. Represented by Frank Köster from the DLR Institute for AI Security, the GaiaX4FutureMobility (GX4FM) project family took part in this discussion with representatives from politics and industry. The more than 20 use cases from the six GX4FM projects and the Base-X development, which is focused on transfer and especially on scaling, offer concrete solutions for how a data-driven and decentralised mobility and transport industry can function in the future and establish itself on the market.

In close cooperation with the BMWK-funded Transfer-X project, which is led in tandem by Fraunhofer colleagues and the DLR Institute for AI Security, Frank Köster and Marko Pfeifer have shown how the two funding projects interact. Like Catena-X, GX4FM develops scalable concepts and principles for a digital transformation; Transfer-X actively ensures that this content is prepared in a target group- and application-orientated way and made available to industry.

The event in Leipzig was organised by: Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action(BMWK), Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (SWMA), Thuringian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG). Parliamentary State Secretary Michael Kellner, Minister of State Martin Dulig and Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee took part in the discussion. On behalf of the project family, we would like to thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to discuss the topics of transformation and digitalisation.
