Quality management system successfully introduced by the Institute of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.
The Institute of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul has successfully introduced a quality management system that complies with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and DLR specifications. A corresponding certificate was issued to the institute by the responsible auditors. The achievement of certifiability increases competitiveness and improves collaboration with other organisational units at DLR as well as cooperation with external partners.
The certification relates to the institute as a certifiable subsystem. The next goal is to further develop the system for integrating organisational units into the DLR matrix system. This will make it possible to merge all subsystems into a certified multi-site management system.
