The Application Center MRO is a unique facility for the practical research of MRO technologies and processes. It incorporates five laboratories in which current research topics are investigated, demonstrated and further developed in close cooperation with partners from science and industry.
Design / Concept
The Application Center MRO serves as a research and development platform for new technologies to implement innovative maintenance-related digitalisation and automation processes. Current research topics are demonstrated, evaluated and developed in close collaboration with partners in the business and scientific sectors. The most prominent technologies from the fields of robotics, 3D measurement, augmented and virtual reality, position tracking as well as drone and inspection technologies form the Application Center’s key components.
