Technical University of Munich – Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control

The Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control at the Technical University of Munich researches and teaches methods for recording and influencing traffic in both private and public transport. In cooperation with European partners, topics such as traffic detection, modelling, simulation, systems engineering, intelligent vehicle concepts and vehicle-to-X communication are dealt with. The Chair works closely with cities to identify future mobility needs and is involved in the Digital Twin. Tools such as FleetPy support the analysis of multimodal route chains.
