Developments in industrial robotics at Motek
The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics will be presenting new developments in the field of industrial robotics at the international trade fair Motek in Stuttgart from 5 October 2021 to 8 October 2021.
The trade fair is a leading event in the fields of production and assembly automation, feeding technology and material flow, rationalisation through handling technology and industrial handling. As an industry platform, it covers the entire world of automation.
In addition to the robotic hand CLASH and the spin-off Leverage Robotics, the research work of the Factory of the Future will also be presented at the DLR stand.
CLASH is characterised by the fact that the mechanical stiffness of the fingers can be adjusted using additional drives. This makes it possible, for example, to grip a fruit without crushing it and hold it securely at the same time.
The spin-off Leverage Robotics was founded in 2021 and has set itself the goal of developing and improving innovative robot technologies. A particular focus is on making collaborative robot stations more flexible through the efficient, intuitive and versatile use of tools.
At Motek 2021, you will have the opportunity to experience the projects live in hall 7 at stand number 7910.
