                      Research services

                      Research hand in hand

Application-orientated research stands for a close exchange with science and industry for mutual benefit. The Institute of Future Fuels and its co-operation partners operate several test and inspection facilities, which are also available to interested industrial customers.

                      Research support

The DLR Institute of Future Fuels collaborates on many projects with companies and other research institutions. We offer our project partners the possibility to use our large-scale test facilities and laboratory test stands for their experiments. We support project partners from industry in designing the technical, contractual and legal framework conditions for joint research projects.

                      Solar radiation tests

The DLR’s high-flux Solar Furnace and Solar Simulator in Cologne offer researchers and users from industrial companies many opportunities for the technical use of concentrated solar radiation. These range from materials testing and the substitution of fossil fuels to the detoxification of wastes.
