Philae lander - everywhere

On 12 Novem­ber, Phi­lae be­came the first man-made ob­ject to land on the sur­face of a comet. To cel­e­brate, Google’s search en­gine ded­i­cat­ed its start-up screen to the lan­der, and in­stead of the sec­ond let­ter O in its lo­go, de­pict­ed Phi­lae ex­tend­ing its three legs.

On 12 November, Philae became the first man-made object to land on the surface of a comet. To celebrate, Google’s search engine dedicated its start-up screen to the lander, and instead of the second letter O in its logo, depicted Philae extending its three legs.
