Handiwork, just as 125 years ago

The nor­mal glid­er has been re­con­struct­ed af­ter the orig­i­nal build­ing plans with ap­pro­pri­ate ma­te­ri­als. In the glid­er work­shop of the Ot­to Lilien­thal Mu­se­um in An­klam, DLR and mu­se­um em­ploy­ees string the wood­en frame­work with spe­cial­ly pre­pared fab­ric.

The normal glider has been reconstructed after the original building plans with appropriate materials. In the glider workshop of the Otto Lilienthal Museum in Anklam, DLR and museum employees string the wooden framework with specially prepared fabric.
