DLR used state-of-the-art scientific methods in the DNW wind tunnel in the Netherlands to test an exact replica of a glider designed by the aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal. DLR will present the replica of the Normalsegelapparat (normal glider) to a larger audience for the first time at ILA 2016.
