Six new institutes for DLR
DLR’s aeronautics research will be strengthened at the new locations in Hamburg, Dresden and Augsburg, while Jena will feature a greater focus in the field of big and smart data beyond aerospace itself. The new facility in Oldenburg will concentrate on energy research, and the institute in Bremerhaven will investigate the interdisciplinary topic of security.
