ESA astronaut Hans Schlegel during extra-vehicular activity on the ISS
German ESA astronaut Hans Schlegel at work outside the spacecraft (Extra-vehicular activity, or EVA for short) on13 February 2008. The tasks performed by Schlegel and his colleague, NASA astronaut Rex Walheim, during this EVA, which lasted 6 hours and 45 minutes, included the installation of a new nitrogen tank on the ISS.
