German Aerospace Day 2011
Around 85,000 visitors attended German Aerospace Day, which took place on 18 September 2011 at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne. On this day, DLR, the European Space Agency and partners presented their research projects in aerospace, energy and transport. Though the weather was not favourable, those who attended were able to see the DLR research aircraft, the Airbus A380 and the airborne observatory SOFIA on the Zulu stand among other things.
