Each morning, when Dirk Stiefs, head of the DLR_School_Lab in Bremen starts work, he knows that this day will bring something new. Enthusing people about science is his thing. He achieves this, as seen on the cover of this issue. He has also entered a few Science Slams. The 33-year-old is happy to explain science – sometimes unconventionally.
