The four new Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft are suitable for flights over medium distances. Small delegations, with a maximum of 12 people, can fly in the Global 5000, for example, non-stop from Berlin to Washington. The Canadian manufactured planes are equipped with a VIP cabin and have been brought into service by the Flugbereitschaft des Bundesministeriums der Verteidigung (an air transport squadron of the Luftwaffe) since the autumn of 2011.
