Flood mask for disaster simulation
To make the simulation of the flood situation as realistic as possible, staff at the Center for Satellite Based Crisis Information (Zentrum für satellitengestützte Kriseninformation; ZKI) have used historical data to generate a ‘flood mask’ that is overlaid onto the current aerial images.
