Water ice deposits at the edges of terrain features in the Imhotep region
The left-hand overview image, acquired by the navigation camera on board the Rosetta orbiter, shows the locations where the Visible and Infrared Thermal Imaging Spectrometer (VIRTIS) instrument has found water ice in debris falls in the Imhotep region of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. A close-up of the area marked with a white arrow is shown in sub-images b) and c). The area marked with a yellow arrow can be seen more closely in sub-image d).
