Four Galileos in an Ariane 5
The four Galileo satellites Antonianna, Lisa, Kimberley and Tijmen were transported to their orbits for the first time by an Ariane 5 launcher. A new mounting and deployment system – the so-called Dispenser – carried the four Galileo satellites under the payload fairing and ensured their deployment at the right time.
