The robotic arm of the InSight lander helps the Mars Mole
Image acquired by the Instrument Deployment Camera (IDC) of NASA's InSight lander: This image was taken on 29 September 2019, Sol 299. The researchers want to use the scoop on the robotic arm of the InSight lander to push the Mars Mole against the wall of its 'mole hole'. Each IDC image has a field of view of 45 x 45 degrees.
