The CHEOPS space telescope – launch in December 2019
The CHEOPS (CHaracterising ExOplanet Satellite) mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) is scheduled for launch on 17 December 2019. It will use high-precision photometry to search for other planets and determine the radius of the exoplanets with great accuracy.
