Migratory birds travel hundreds of kilometres on their journeys
With the help of the ICARUS experiment on the ISS, researchers want to investigate the annual migration routes of birds and other wild animals. For this purpose, the animals will be fitted with a transmitter (tag) which will transmit their position data to the International Space Station.
