Communication between trains and cars
Rail and road transport are becoming increasingly digitalised and networked. Reliable wireless communication is a basic prerequisite for such developments. However, the respective radio systems can interfere with one another. In its V2X-DuRail project, the DLR team is investigating different radio systems that enable safe communication between trains, sections and carriages of a single train and intersecting road traffic.
