Decoupling growth and emissions
Despite the brief downturn in air traffic during the COVID-19 pandemic, exponential traffic growth is set to return in the medium term. If the world is to move towards climate-neutral air transport, the associated emissions need to be decoupled from the exponential increase in air traffic volume.
