The DLR Institute of Atmospheric Physics carries out measurements at an altitude of over nine kilometres. The high-altitude research aircraft EGRETT, operated by the company AV Expert, is used for this purpose. The view from the cockpit of the EGRETT shows the DLR cloud probe CAPS installed on the wing and the Blue Condor demonstrator, a hydrogen-powered glider, flying ahead.
