The Russian space probe Luna 25
Russia, too, has plans to return to the Moon. Luna 25 is the space probe with which the programme from the Soviet era will be resumed. Under Luna 25, Russia intends to explore the Moon’s south polar region and help with preparations for a robotic station. Possible launch dates currently discussed are the years 2021 and 2022 to 2024.
