The VoltAirs-95 concept was submitted by TU Braunschweig and offers space for 95 passengers. It is designed to have a flight range of almost 900 kilometres and is powered by ten distributed electric propellers. An additional engine at the rear, powered by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), is used for reserve power or can be switched on for longer flights to more distant destinations. The batteries are housed in the aircraft's fuselage and wings. The aircraft design is conventional but has a V-tail. The windowless main body is equipped with OLED displays in the cabin to provide passengers with sufficient comfort while reducing the structural weight.
