The European Space Agency (ESA) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) EarthCARE satellite has undergone final checks in Europe. Before being packed and transported to the launch site in the USA, the satellite spent its final days in Germany in a cleanroom at Airbus in Friedrichshafen. Early in March 2024, it will be flown to the launch site in Vandenberg, California (USA). It will be launched in May.
