EarthCARE on its way to the launch pad
ESA's EarthCARE satellite, enclosed in the fairing of the Falcon 9 rocket, is being transported to the SpaceX launch facility at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. When in orbit, this new satellite will revolutionise our understanding of how clouds and aerosols affect the Earth's climate.
