PLATO housed in cleanroom tent
After its arrival in the ESTEC cleanroom, the spacecraft was placed in a tent that supplies the clean air required for its sensitive optical instruments. At this stage it is still covered with a protective foil. The space probe can still be seen here in its horizontal transport position.
