Video: ROLIS captures the descent on Churyumov-Gerasimenko
This video consists of seven frames acquired by the ROLIS camera, located on the under side of the lander Philae. It shows the descent to the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko on 12 November 2014. The images were taken at 10-second intervals. The last ROLIS photograph in this video was acquired when the Philae lander was just nine metres from the comet's surface. ROLIS is operated under the leadership of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
