15-part atlas scheme for the Saturn moon Tethys
Measuring 1062 kilometres in diameter, Tethys is the fifth largest of Saturn’s moons. The camera system on Cassini managed to capture the moon three times during a close flyby and hence obtain global coverage in high resolution. The names of the landscape features on Tethys and the map sheets themselves are taken from characters and places portrayed in Homer’s Odyssey.
